Thankful for Jenny my piano teacher, who instructs and encourages me enthusiastically despite my increasing lassitude. Music education was a resolution for 2012, and taking piano lessons was a great start. As it happened I started lessons the very week of Baby H's conception, so my learning curve has been more flat than I would have hoped (fatigue, preoccupation, excuses, excuses).
However discouraging for this perfectionist, beginning to read music and connect the eyes and the mind and the fingers and the foot, albeit slowly, brings me a great deal of satisfaction, and for that I say, thank you, Jenny!
